I have known YANOE from Los Angeles for a couple of years now. He was the guy who opened a couple of doors for me in LA, showed me around and who became a true friend. A while ago I received the best news – he was planning his trip through Europe and was ready to make a stop in Switzerland. So finally last week I was able to welcome him to my hood. Spontaneously YANOEs good buddy AMUSE126 from Chicago decided to join us while he was spending time in France. So we were a crew of 3 and I had 4 days to show those guys Basel and the area around. But what is visiting Switzerland without seeing the Alps?!? So we decided to escape the summer heat for one day and took a tourist trip to Grindelwald, which is just a 2 hour drive away. It was the real deal with hiking, spotting of a large group of chamois, groundhogs, waterfalls, even a snowball fight and the traditional Rösti – a Swiss potato dish – to end the day.
But most of the time we followed our all time favorite hobby Graffiti. We painted quite a lot. Lack of sleep was common in those days, but I had a fantastic time with two amazingly talented writers and great humans. Hope to see you again soon!
