Who of you doesn’t know those chrome balloon letters which have been around and on several walls all over the world for a couple of years now? I guess a lot of writers tried to copy this style, but there was one guy who started it all. Meet the very talented FANAKAPAN from London – the stage is yours, man.
1. Maybe some words about us: When and how did you noticed Hombre & Boogie for the first time?
I’d say I noticed your guys work a few years back on line Graff type pages.
Ultra tight, smooth steezy colourful letters and characters.
At the time I was painting with a sweets/candy style so the work impressed the shit out of me.
2. How important is your profession in your private life? Are there also some negative aspects?
My profession is massively important to me as now I live and breathe Graff/ Streetart . My only problem is trying to balance out the party to paint ratio ( if you know what I mean?! Haha )
3. Do you have Idols?
I look up to a fair few people but mainly my friends and musicians that deserve god like respect
The prodigy, dj shadow, portishead, kool Keith – off the top of my head..
I’ve been lucky enough to paint along side some top artists in the last few years and I respect all of them.
4. Which gift do you wish to have?
If I had a gift as in a skill, I’d love to have been a breaker. Breakdancing impresses the shit out of me.
If the gift was a present from someone, I’d be happy with a beer
5. Your best travel destination till now?
I think maybe Hong Kong was my favourite place to paint recently. After that it would be Brooklyn / New York
6. Backpacker or 5 Stars?
I’d prefer to stay in 5 stars as I’m an insomniac – sometimes I get 5 stars but I usually end up on the floor somewhere
7. Rock, Rap or Elektro?

8. Low Carb or Candy Madness?
i eat whatever happens to be closest to me at the time . Haha
9. Soccer or Wrestling?
NO FOOTBALL ! Not keen on wrestling either . All about skateboarding and snowboarding.
Footballers are over paid ballet dancers !
10. Your 5 daily essentials?
5 daily essentials are probably the grey blue colour range from molotow.
11. Favourite movie?
I like clockwork orange but mainly for the soundtrack. Ultra violence is apparently frowned upon
12. 5 Alltime favorite songs?
I like too many tracks to name one .. I’m trying but I can’t.
13. What are your wishes for the future – private and global?
My selfish wish would be that I could carry on doing what I do, earn enough for the fam and make walls all over the world look stupid with my art.
Global wish would be to somehow terminate all the loonatics that keep shooting at people for no reason
… This world is messed up.
