Having a show in a good gallery in Paris – when I started with graffiti I never even wasted a thought about it or it was a goal which was not in reach for me. But it became reality quicker than I thought when Julien Kolly of the KOLLY GALLERY in Zurich asked me to be part of a show at HAPPY GALLERY in the City of Lights with three other artists in October. Wow, I just couldn’t let this opportunity pass up and agreed to be there with the main focus on my model trains. I love those freights and they have just the right size. This meant a ton of work, but also fun. And last Thursday it all went down: together with Buff Monster (USA), Speedy Graphito (FR) and Martin Whatson (NOR) I had my first group show in Paris. In the middle of the beautiful Le Marais district and during FIAC – on of the worlds largest fairs for contemporary art. I was a bit nervous.
As already written HERE, my good friend NILKO from the LoveLetters offered me to use his studio in a parisian suburb so that I was able to finish some canvases. Thanks for your support, man – really appreciate it. And hanging with friends made it even more special. I even got to enjoy some tourist moments on the day after the private view.
I’ve had a great and exciting couple of days in France with awesome people and crazy high parking fees. See you next time, Paris!
