On my trip to Ecuador in 2016 I had the chance to paint with Aptitatan – a well known and probably one of the best graffiti artists of Quito. After months of planning and organizing this year he finally did his Europe tour. After painting at Roskulde Festival, Barcelona and Meeting of Styles Milano ther was also Switzerland on the list. Apitatan is known for his characters with the edgy nose and he painted lots of big and really impressive murals during the last years. So we had a tight timeslot but we both enjoyed this time a lot.
There are no trains in Quito and so you never get the chance to paint a train there. Thats why he was even more happy to check out my spot with me and paint at least trash train.
On the whole we had a really good time and I hope to meet this dude again one day.
