It is done and so are we. After quite a long time of preparation, 3 days of craziness with little sleep and somewhat like 2500 kilometers of driving through beautiful Germany, the first Homboog FASTLANE TOUR is over. Six cities with different experiences, the nicest people and a lot of very dear and special moments to us are the foundation of our journey of painting six murals. And you can definitely say that the journey is the reward.
All the impressions from those three days on the road have been collected and captured by our favorite film maker and Echo award winner Mikis Fontagnier. He’s going to make a movie out of all the painting, driving and talking. Thank you so much that you and our talented photographer Johannes Friedrich joined Team Homboog for this crazy ride – thank you for believing in us, helping us out – not just behind the camera – and working 24/7. Without further support Team Homboog wouldn’t have had the chance to get from A as Basel to B as Hamburg. We’ve spend most of the time painting the murals, but looking back at the hours, it is followed right away by the time we drove around on the german highways. And this is a thank you to TOYOTA GERMANY, who allowed us to test drive two stylish C-HRs for our tour. Music on, and time went by fast even on those longer drives. It also allowed us to take all those cans, a huge ladder for Boogie and his shoulder, the whole camera equipment, lots of drinks and fresh boxer shorts.
Now we are already thinking and dreaming about the second edition of the FASTLANE TOUR – there are so many ideas and suggestions for take two. We’ll see you guys out there!
