Who is interested in graffiti on trains out there should know the name RAZOR very well. One of Germanys most active train writers during the last two and a half decades.
Please introduce yourself in a few words.
RAZOR cos (colors on steel) crew since 1992. Maybe it`s the best if I introduce myself with my pieces which I do in a short time but with a longer preparation and which I want to give everybody as a gift.
1. Maybe some words about us: When and how did you noticed Hombre & Boogie for the first time?
I saw the first HOMBRE characters beside a CAN2 piece and I thought just “Ooooohhhh! These two guys paint on the same level.” Same with the BOOGIE pieces. They were just here and I thought, that the illustrators resume the power from now on. 😉
2. How important is your profession in your private life? Are there also some negative aspects?
You know how it is: that double life as an illegal graffiti writer. Nobody should know what you`re really doing. Your family must not know it, people in the free economy must not know it caus otherwise your career is over. So you`re looking for a handful of people who share your hobby and your passion as well and who really now you. But this graffiti thing still flashes me and I try to act only the positive aspects of it.
3. Do you have Idols?
At the moment I get into the drawings of King Kirby. I like the dynamics, the power and the hard contrasts in his black and white pieces. I also like that storyteller thing at the moment….really inspiring.
4. Which gift do you wish to have?
More time. More boredom. More right awarenesses. I`m not so into possessions.
My formula for this:
more possessions = more work = less graffiti 🙁
no possession = less work = more free time for graffiti
My idea for the next diss-slogan beside my piece would be:
“You`ve got a Porsche but you`ve got style like a Ford Polo.”
5. Your best travel destination till now?
Rome. But to be honest: the best are these short trips with ROUND and the other boys.
6. Backpacker or 5 stars?
2 stars hotel in the city should be enough.
7. Rock, Rap oder Elektro?
Rap with Electro beats.
8. Low Carb or Candy Madness?
Low Carb before painting. Candy madness after action.
9. Soccer or Wrestling?
Soccer!
10. Your 5 daily essentials?
– one time go to the trainstation and the line
– drawing
– looking for hours on pictures
– sports
– friends
11. Favourite movie?

12. 5 Alltime favorite songs?

13. What are your wishes for the future – private and global?
If I don`t stop then I`m gonna be be three times older than the checkers at the train yards very soon. So: Quit! … or no not? Hey! Ok…just one more piece should be ok. 😉
I think that internet thing will turn everything upside down and hopefully it till improve everything .
