Julien Kolly (37) is a gallerist, graffiti enthusiast and boss of an advertising agency. A workaholic, professional and homie in one person. In 2014 he created with his KOLLY GALLERY a No.1 adress for graffiti art directly at Seefeld in Zurich/Switzerland. The artist lineup is growing and growing. Guys such as Dare (RIP), Swet, Tilt, Flying Förtress, MadC, Smash137, Nychos, L’Atlas, JonOne oder Dave the Chimp just to name a few had their solo shows there. We met Julien in Zurich and asked him our 13 questions:
Please introduce yourself in a few words.
Hello, my name is Julien Kolly, i am 37 years old and I am gallerist.
1. Maybe some words about us: When and how did you noticed Hombre & Boogie for the first time?
I know Boogie since 2010 – I met him in Chemnitz at Hallenkunst. I bought 2 paintings from him.
I don`t really know Hombre.
2. How important is your profession in your private life? Are there also some negative aspects?
My job is ma passion. So, there is no clear border between my job and my private life. I work 82 hours / week since a while and I don’t have enough time to spend with my wife. Now, I am starting to manage better my travels and my holidays.
3. Do you have Idols?
No.
4. Which gift do you wish to have?
Surprise me!
5. Your best travel destination till now?
Tokyo
6. Backpacker or 5 Stars?
5 Stars – I hate drunk people yelling in the middle of the night.

Elektro

Candy Madness!!!
9. Soccer or Wrestling?
Hockey!!! Soccer is not a sport.
